Allow drilldown to sub-tags
I'd like to be able to drill down from one tag to show bookmarks that have both this tag and another tag ... just like the Delicious website does (and Tags does incidentally) e.g. Show all bookmarks tagged Mobile AND News.

The main reason that I’ve not implemented this yet is because of performance considerations. It’s easy to make it work when you have a few hundred tags, much, much harder to make it usable when you have several thousand.

Show Untagged Bookmarks
Could use a way to show untagged bookmarks that I've added on-the-go. Delicious website allows this - Untagged Bookmarks or system:unfiled.

Edit tags
"At first glance I got the feeling that Yummy might be missing the functions to manage tags (delete, bundle, etc.), but I’d say that tag management is not something that you do on a daily basis."
(This is exactly why tag editing has never risen to the top of the list of priorities. As always I'll consider it if a lot of people are interested.)

This is on the list for the new major version.

Change tag auto-complete UI to use "blue pills" instead of—those OS X-like tab things
I don't think I'll be the first one to mention it, but the UI for selecting auto-completed tags when adding a new bookmark… works… but isn't optimal. I doubt that even half of my tags fit inside the space of one of those tabs; but then I'm prone to using really flamboyant tags like "addressbooksyncviaimap" and "areyouseriousmicrosoft".
Still, I believe that maybe another UI element—perhaps the "blue pills," as with recipient lists in the iOS Mail app—could be used to better effect. It seems like if they were stacked two or three high (perhaps with a left/right swipe to access… more

To be pedantic for a second… the OS X-like tabs are a standard iOS component while the blue pills are not!
Certainly there is visual clutter with long tags in the current implementation, and that’s something I would like to improve in a future version.

Fix the 'Get Title' feature
'Get Title' is very useful, especially if you use packrati.us or a similar service to automatically store URLs you tweet as the content of the tweet becomes the title field. However, activating this feature is a) very slow and b) it doesn't save the result.

As designed, you should not be able to edit the URL. What seems to be happening is that it leaves the old link and creates a new one.
Why is does this and why it’s slow are for technical reasons.
Firstly, the Delicious API does not support editing links. And, until recently, you couldn’t do it in the web interface either. (Which is why this has not been a priority.)
I will certainly change how this operates, though whether this is by allowing editing URLs or by removing this “loophole” I can’t say at the moment.
Secondly, the way it finds the title is by downloading the web page in a hidden web preview. It therefore takes as long as loading the webpage.
This is harder. I know how to make this faster, but that would be at the expense of accuracy. I’m not clear whether this trade-off would… more

Swipe gestures between Title/URL/Notes/Tags/More when adding a new bookmark
After I first started using Yummy, it sort of bothered me that these things were on separate "pages." This comes from having used—and loved—DeliciousSafari's delightfully minimal Delicious Bookmarks (Free) for a long time before defecting to Pinboard.
But then I saw how Delibar did it, and, well, that didn't work either, because you have to scroll down to press the "Add Bookmark" button. Too many taps, and the keyboard was always getting in the way.
I think swiping between the "pages" in Yummy when adding a new bookmark might be a good compromise.

I’m not clear how swiping between fields is any easier or quicker than using the tabs? At least with the tabs it’s “discoverable.”
Incidentally, they’re all on separate tabs because some people want to enter very long notes or lots of tags. Having everything one one screen means you either have only a little text visible at a time (like DeliciousSafari last I used it) or some difficulty navigating.

Search Engine (Yahoo, Google, etc) Integration
After searching for certain websites, I can bookmark the results right away. I don't have to open Safari.

Interesting idea. I had thought of making a web browser more central to Yummy.

Part of the reason that this has never been high on the list of priorities is that the Delicious.com website is not localised.
Having said that, it’s certainly possible. I’d need help with the translations.

The more “social” features are certainly planned for the next major release.

This difficulty in this one is getting the UI right. But it is something I’m looking into.

cloud
There was an app which was great because it allows to browse your tags by a "cloud" view: if you search by tag, it shows in a "cloud" the related tags: you can shorten you search easily.
Would that be possible in Yummy?1 voteunder review ·

More functionality around tags, drill-downs and related tags is something I am actively looking at for the next major version.

Assume this means “sort by name” (rather than date). Sorting/filtering is something I want to get a ‘unified’ solution for.

With the ability to have both pinboard and delicious accounts within the one app, I think this suggestion makes more sense than ever. It’s a nontrivial change, however, so it would be in the next major version at the soonest. Also, getting the UI right could be hard (I don’t like the way it’s done in the one iOS app that does have this feature.)
